Double-sided handwritten receipt from Frederick Kitt, steward of President George Washington's household. On both sides, Kitt is documenting the receipt of money from Bartholomew Dandridge - Martha Washington's nephew who served for 6 years as George Washington's secretary - to purchase various "sundries" for the President's household.Side 1 reads: 16 Febry 1795 rec. of B.
