from late 19th Century with beautiful Rococo style embossed decoration.

Antique French Sterling Silver Napkin Ring
is presented here for your consideration! This Napkin Ring is wholly made of the finest quality French sterling silver .950 purity, nicely decorated with embossed and hand engraved Rococo style ornamentations.
This charming
Antique French Sterling Silver Napkin Ring
is finely decorated with a combination of hand-engraving and
Repoussé
, a sheet of silver is heated and the pattern raised from the reverse side using various shape of tools. It is done by hand and difficult to master. The decoration includes
rocaille
scallop borders, flute spiral lines, flowers and a large centralised Rococo cartouche with monogram GB. It's perhaps rather simple in term of design, but it's gives pleasing air of softness. A special find for you - don't miss out!
Hallmarked
French Minerva No.1
mark, which guarantees .950 purity sterling silver, used since 1838 in Paris. This is one of the highest standard sterling silver in the world, purer than standard .925 sterling.
Measurements & Condition
2 inch (5 cm) diameter x 1.4 inch (3.5 cm) wide, weight 20 grams of solid sterling silver.
Excellent Estate Condition
