Description
These are two adorable children's dishes. One is a very cute child's divided plate with images of a child feeding a teddy bear in a chair and children with an umbrella and ducks. The plate measures 3/4
" in
height
by 7 1/2" in diameter. Condition is very good with some wear to the gold paint around the edge and a small mold imperfection on one edge that is under the glaze and paint.
The second is a child's bowl with two nursery rhymes. The bowl measures 1
1/4
" in
height
by 6 3/4" in diameter. One nursery rhyme reads "When The Pie Was Opened - The Birds Began To Sing - Was Not That A Dainty Dish - To Set Before A King" with the other "Ding Dong Bell - Pussy's In The Well - Who Put Her In? Little Tommy Green". The bowl is signed on the bottom "Noritake Hand Painted Made in Japan". Condition is very good with no chips or cracks - the original painting and finish shows some wear due to age.
