21” Antique Unmarked Composition Doll Sleep Eyes Brown Lashes.

USED condition. A very interesting story behind this rare find.  We acquired this doll from an old lady that said she used to play with this doll when she was a little girl (about 80 years ago).

his beautiful doll is approximately 21" and is In
PRE-OWNED USED & PLAYED WITH CONDITION.
Her lovely sweet face is in great condition, with gorgeous brown sleepy eyes that do work. Her lashes are intact. The original (mohair?) wig is visibly matted. The composition has cracks, crazing, paint loss and some dirt. Her fingers are all intact. The doll has her original clothes. Her vintage dress is dirty and has some tears in her waist area, which can easily be repaired. Shoes are damaged (common for its age). Previous owner said the doll was from the 40's, but I cannot guarantee her age, providence or material.
There are no marking or descriptive marks on the doll to determine its origin. I assumed she is “
R&B Arranbee"
because I found other similar dolls like her in google and others sellers on eBay. She is all composition material. Our pricing is purely based on the story from the original Owner, as well as on the condition of the doll.  Yet, we do not have any way to accurately determine it's maker, year, etc... So please look at the description and the included photos to determine if you are interested in the object.  Sold as is.
