This auction is for a Set of Four Staffordshire Child's "Fishers" Green Transfer Toy Plates, Cork, Edge & Malkin, Staffordshire, England, c. 1860-1880. This set of four Staffordshire toy plates are very attractive with a green and white transfer printed pattern. Three of the plates are marked on the underside, "FISHERS - C.E. & M.", in green. Decorated in the scarce FISHERS pattern, depicting a boy and girl sitting by the side of a river with their fishing poles and bait, cows grazing near a bridge in the distance. This is a set of four nested toy plates, of four different sizes. I offer this set of four toy plates here with no reserve and a Buy It Now. DIMENSIONS: The largest toy plate is 3/8" H. x 3 11/16" Dia.. The next largest is 3" Dia.. The second smallest plate is 2 11/16" Dia.. The smallest toy plate is just 2 1/4" Dia.. CONDITION: The condition is very good with minimal wear and no damage. Exceptional condition for four 150 year old child's toy plates.
