Description
The Harker Pottery Co., of East Liverpool, Ohio and later Chester, West Virginia, is commonly called the, "Oldest Pottery in America." It was started in a log cabin in 1840 by Benjamin Harker and remained on its original site for ninety-one years (it closed in 1972). These seven bread and butter plates are from Harker's "Cameoware" line of dinnerware, one of its most recognizable and well loved patterns of the late 1940's and early 1950's. The plates measure 6 5/8" across the center and are in excellent used condition, only two of the plates have crazing (the other 5 have no crazing) and two of the plates have a tiny nick on the edge of the rim (see photos 7 & 8-there is a slight bit of staining around one of the nicks, use zoom).Note: This item will be ready to ship within one to two business days of receiving your order, and ship with USPS Priority Mail which includes tracking.
