    Antique Blue Feather Edge Pearlware Child's Plate, MY MOTHER, c 1800. This is a very fine and rare pearlware child's plate with a raised blue feather edge. This has a blue printed transfer scene of a mother and daughter about to hug each other. There is a printed slogan or motto around the border of the transfer that reads, "When first alone I dar'd to go. With outstretched arms & totfring toe. Who did my trembling efforts cheer, My Mother." Many dealers and collectors might call this a Leeds pearlware child's plate. But these feather edge plates were made by many English maker's of this early period. This is very fine Blue Feather edge pearlware child's plate offered here with no reserve and a Buy It Now. DIMENSIONS: The Blue Feather Edge pearlware child's plate is 11/16" H. x 6 7/16" Dia.. CONDITION: The condition is very good condition with thin, tight hairline off the rim, which doesn't really go all the way through to the front.
