    his exquisite and heavy antique French sterling silver napkin ring is beautifully designed in a pattern of daisies. It is monogrammed with the engraved and interlaced initials “O” and “C”. This napkin ring bears the French “

    ” hallmark or “

    ”, indicating the highest quality of French sterling silver (950/1000), used in Paris since 1838. The

    is the guarantee that the sterling is at least 95% silver. It also bears the maker’s mark of
    Eugène
    Lefebvre
    , master silversmith, located in the
    rue des
    Minimes
    , in the Marais quarter of Paris, between 1896 ad 1910. The maker’s mark consists of the letters “E” and “L” surrounding the image of a swan pierced by an arrow.
