Old Childs' Staffordshire Plate
This antique childs' plate has a colored scene of Robinson Crusoe on his raft. This plate was made in Staffordshire, England in the mid to late 1800s. The plate measures 7 1/2" across and is in very nice condition with a factory made little firing stress line or crack at the rim (see close-ups). The line is 3/8" long. No chips or flakes, but shows a little edge wear on the pointy tips. Displays very nice.
