Spectacular wide applied borders of cherub faces are the highlight of this antique Tiffany sterling napkin ring. Setting off the faces are beaded borders on each of the rims. Graduated beading separates each cherub face from the next. Leaf scrolls frame the faces. Each cherub face is a little individual portrait. Some of cherubs face slightly left, others slightly slightly right, and still others face directly. The expressions, each different, are charming. On the central section of the napkin ring is the following monogram: "Wm. F. C. E from Wm. F. C." along with the date 1899. On the interior rim of the ring we find "Tiffany & Co. Makers Sterling." The ring is in excellent condition with minimal use marks. The diameter opening is 1.75 inches and the width is 1 5/8 inches. The ring is quite heavy at 63.1 grams (2.2 ounces).
