Hand-painted. Could be for play or drinking. No damage from use other than wear to gold trim, but multiple production flaws: scattered embedded ash and multiple pock marks (tiny indents) inside and outside; rough rim under glaze. Age, origin not known. -- Almost a match for other mini mug (B); see last photo.
