THEODORE ROOSEVELT. Beautiful Hungarian Republican Club program honoring and signed by, “Theodore Roosevelt,” as President. The event took place in New York City on February 14, 1905, the very month Roosevelt began negotiating with Russia and Japan to end the Russo-Japanese War.

Contains a list of honorary members that include Roosevelt, dinner menu, list of activities that include an address made by Roosevelt, and list of banquet committee members. Countersigned by the toastmaster, Marcus Braun; with six leaves; measures 9.5 by 7.5 inches; contains a red and blue ribbon to attach the hole punches together, a gilt emblem of the club on the back cover, and portraits of the honorary members; and in near fine condition with only very minor staining on the front cover and minor damage to the hole punches on the last leaf.
