c 1987 & 1991 Signed & Dated Leo Ward Blue Birds Of Happiness. This is a pre-owned estate item.
Provenance: The owner of this art class was an elderly gentleman who became ill and was forced to move to another state. This item along with other items were acquired in this state disbursement.
During examination and photographic process I noted that the condition of the items are excellent. I did not observe any chips, cracks or missing parts. Furthermore, I did not observe any post creation scratches or scuffs.
The smaller Bluebird is actually attached to the base. Obviously the bluebird was hand blown and then subsequently was attached to the hand blown base. The bluebird that's attached to the base is signed and dated by Leo Ward, 1991. However, the larger bluebird, also hand blown and handcrafted is signed and dated by Leo Ward, 1987.
