    Description

    Today we have a  children’s small plate made by Shenango. The plate features a little bubble-maker surrounded by nursery rhyme characters around the edge, Bonny Lass, Georgie Porgie, and a couple more. It's accented with bright green stripe around the edge.The plate is about 5 3/8 inches in diameter.The mark on the underside is, Shenango China Newcastle, PA underneath, all under glaze. Mark was used from 1920s-early 1950s. There is also stamped with under glaze the number 53. The condition is excellent with only some light scratching from use.
