CUTE, VINTAGE R & B NANCY LEE 17" DOLL, SUNTAN

Description

This adorable doll was made by Arranbee (R & B), probably in the 1950s. I believes she has Nancy Le face. She is 17 inches tall and is made of hard plastic. She is a suntan color, and has her original blond mohair wig with braids. The doll is wearing original clothes. She looks like a cowgirl to me! You can see on the back of her blouse where the tag was cut, but I'm guessing it was an Arranbee tag.
She is such a cute girl but is not intended for the collector of mint dolls. She has all her eyelashes and her eyes work well. There are light blonde eyebrows under her bangs. However, on the corner of one eye is a small chip--hard to see--but it is there. There is a small rough spot on one of her cheeks. The paint on her lips and cheeks is fine. Her blonde mohair wig is terrific but has strays and a little frizz in a couple of areas. It is in overall good condition and all the hair is all there. Her stringing is good. The doll is very old and she has a little bit of "old plastic" smell. It is definitely
not
the stink of rotting, old hard plastic. I do not notice it when she is on display, only when I get very close to her. She can stand on her own, but I preferred to keep her in a stand (not included). She is marked R & B on the back of her neck.
This is, all in all, a darling, very vintage Nancy Lee doll who needs a new home. Can it be with you?
