    Description

    Lot of 36 color postcards of Yosemite Valley & National Park scenes.  Early color cards, all pre-1920.  Most appear to be German-printed color lithos or similar.  Almost all different, there are a couple of dups; I believe all but one are postally unused in nice condition.  Some light edge & corner wear as usual, none of what I would call "damage" other than perhaps some light scuffs on the front from being stacked at one time. The majority are of one series of "Phostint" by Detroit Publishing, but there are at least three other publishers.  Offered as a lot suitable for a dealer or collector who wants to get a head start on a larger collection.  Given the popularity of the subject material and condition of the cards, these should be able to be re-sold for up to - each.  I am also offering a number of other, similar lots as separate listings.  All such lots will be securely packaged for safe shipment without damage. Please note that any return necessary must be of all 36 PC shipped, no partial returns.
