  • Condition: This napkin ring is in good antique condition. It has mostly kept it's oval form; the shield is in good shape with only a slight bend at top right; the leafy engraving is crisp; the marks are clear; there is some fairly minimal scratching.

    Description

    This oval napkin ring is 2 1/4" long with a width of 7/8" and a weight of 21 grams.  The applied shield is about 1 1/4" by 3/4", and has a triple or quadruple monogram, in attractive script but slightly rubbed.
    The shield has feather edge brite cut engraving around it's perimeter; and, on either side of the shield, the napkin ring is engraved with attractive engraves leaves.
    This napkin ring is marked SKIRK&SON with an 11OZ stamp on either side of the maker's mark.  This is the 1846 to 61 mark.
