    Description

    Selling an antique Edward Vom Hofe Model 621 3-0 reel.  The serial number is H285.  I believe this should date it around 1915, but I couldn't find a definitive serial number listing.  It's old, and in quite good condition for its age.  There are some signs of use, but nothing bad at all.  I have not cleaned the reel, other than to try to wipe the part where the serial and model numbers are located so I could get some pictures.  It appears to be a very clean example of an early bait caster, from a great maker.  I was considering keeping this beauty, because I know I will never come across another like it.  Especially not in this condition.
    There are the initials C.F.K on the reel, which I assume is from the original owner.  I believe this was a custom thing they did at the factory, as I have seen other reels with the same style of letting.
