    1950's / 60's vintage story book themed thermal baby food dish. Baby food dishes of this kind were common in the 1950's. Consisting of a sectioned ceramic bowl sealed into a aluminum outer jacket. One would unscrew the plug on the top surface of the bowl and fill the jacket with hot water. This would keep the food warm as well as adding additional weight to this already heavy bowl making it impossible for the baby toss the bowl across the room.
