The
Fredric Effects Blue Monarch overdrive
is a modded clone pedal, based on the legendary
Bluesbreaker overdrive guitar pedal of the 90s.
It has
the added mods found in the extremely popular
"KOT"
version of this circuit (the one with the long waiting list)!
Fredric Effects redesigned the guitar pedal so that
all 4 controls are external, and added a toggle switch
to replace the original DIP switch functions. This pedal is analog, and
true bypass, so your guitar or bass signal is untouched when it's off
. Fredric
also added a treble booster
, to create a very powerful, shimmering tone, with even higher gain for you, if you desire.
Treble boosters were used by legendary guitarists Tony Iommi, Glen Tipton, Ritchie Blackmore, Brian May, Rory Gallagher,
and many others.
CONTROLS:
Volume
- Adjusts the overall pedal volume.
Gain
- Adjusts the strength of the overdrive. Lower it for a cleaner tone.
Tone
- Adjusts the tonal balance.
Treble Boost
- A boost that makes the overdrive more powerful, and really cuts through the mix.
Mode Switch
- Down for overdrive, up for boost mode with slightly higher volume and lower compression.
