    These connectors come from the US. No dealing with buying an item based on a stock photo that is a gamble on what you will receive, 20+ days later!
    These are gold plated USB-C connections for added durability. These are DIY connections; you will have to solder your wires onto the connections yourself. Wire perfect for these connectors is available in my other listings. Extremely easy to assemble and seal the shell, via the locking crimp at the end once you have soldered. Only the connector plug is gold plated, as the shell will be hidden by heat shrink anyway and it being gold plated would not offer any additional benefit, it is just a shell for protection of the USB-C.
