Description
Photos taken on my patio - have camera flash glare - not damage nor discoloration to mugs. These three darling and very tiny Staffordshire hand painted porcelain mugs are from the late 1800's.
I believe they are from the English Victorian era.
They have no maker marks on bottoms.
Two have several very small interior pit marks from the manufacturing process.
None have any cracks, crazing or repairs whatsoever and have a pearlware finish - pristine in my estimation.
Measurements are approximate:
Left side mug in photo: Mug has a floral garland all around top, and has a slight gold mark above handle, although there is no evidence of ever having had a gold rim - perhaps simply an accent mark.
1 7/8" from outer handle edge across top 1 3/8" top and bottom diameters 1.5" tall
Center mug: Has single flower and greenery at bottom with a more ornate handle.
2" from outer handle across top 1.5" top diameter 1 3/8" bottom diameter slightly over 1.5" tall
Right side mug: Has a large single center rose with greenery all around center, and a small dark mark on bottom. There is evidence that it had a gold rim at one point.
1.5" from outer handle across top 1 3/8" top diameter 1.25" bottom diameter 1 9/16" tall
Immediate payment is requested with all accepted offers - thanks!
I consider all three to be in very good condition for their ages and would make very nice additions to a tiny mug collection.
These will ship bubble wrap protected and boxed by USPS First Class.
I have a Maine Coon cat who doesn't really shed and does not drink from tiny floral mugs =^..^=
Thanks for looking!
