Pate-Sur-Pate (
a French term meaning "paste on paste".   It is a method of porcelain decoration in which a relief design
is created on an unfired,  unglazed body by applying successive layers of white slip (liquid clay) with a brush.)
The Plate is solid green with a green & white feather type edging.
It is square w/curved corners, and measures 8 1/2" across.
A designated cup area is in one corner.
The cup is white on the inside, green on the outside with a green & white feather type design on the rim.
It holds 8 oz. when filled to the rim
In good vintage condition... some crazing, no chips.
NOTE:  One plate has a hairline crack across the base (see pic)
