Pair of Victorian Sterling Napkin Rings - Hirons & Plante 1881

Description

A beautiful PAIR of sterling Victorian napkin rings.  We love the "checkerboard" rims on the pair - you can tell that this was made when things will still done by hand!
One napkin ring has only a very partial strike showing.  The other has full hallmarks and since these were a pair, we are assuming the same maker and time frame.
1 3/4" in diameter and 5/8" wide.  Total weight is 29.7 grams. One ring is ever so slightly out of round.
Based on customer preference, we only lightly polish our silver.
