1p, measuring 5.75" x 7.875", no place, dating June 1999 and revised November 2001. A souvenir wanted poster, "FBI Ten Most Wanted Fugitive" boldly signed "Barack Obama" with a black felt tip pen. The poster features a photograph of Osama bin Laden, with "Deceased" printed under it. It offers a reward of up to million for information leading directly to the apprehension or conviction of Bin Laden, who is "CONSIDERED ARMED AND EXTREMELY DANGEROUS." The poster is boldly signed, very fine.
In July 2010, the CIA believed that they had finally located the hideout of Osama bin Laden, and spent the next several months developing a strategy of how to raid the location. President Obama was informed of the intelligence collected by the CIA in March 2011, and authorized a "surgical raid" rather than a plan to bomb the compound. The operation commenced on May 1, 2011, and bin Laden was shot and killed during the raid by Navy Seal Robert O'Neill who signed the second item in this lot... A war room photo where he inscribed "Never Quit".
