    A marked paper clip from the year 1875. Top quality and in such detail 19th century beautiful Great Britain brass honey bee on a leaf. British Registration Mark I: 1868–1883 I: Metal S: 1875 It dates from the year 1875 made on day 26, but unfortunately I can no longer read the month. It is a beautiful piece of decorative item. The paperclip can be put down and attached to the wall. It has a wall bracket. Notes can be clicked between them. The spring has lost some of its resilience. This bee was also used as a paperweight. We have had the blade professionally polished, but of course not too much so as not to lose the antique look. Bottom and inside have retained the original antique color. These types of paperclips have been copied more often in later times, but there are so many differences between antique and modern in details, material and finish.
