Rare Signed Antique Chinese Green Shiwan Hexagonal Pottery Ginger Jar. 19th C. in good antique condition.
Six different detailed panels adorn this antique ginger jar, which measures 5-3/4" high and approx. 6" in diameter. There is what I assume to be a signature (see main photo) and beautiful adornment around the mouth of the jar. This is a larger jar, some of these jars were used as urns and then turned into ginger jars. Maybe its the name of the person whose ashes were in it ??? just a thought.  FYI, a flash was used for all of the photos.
