NICE ADDITION FOR COLLECTION! GOOD LUCK!
This is the early series of the Penn Silver Beach. This is before the model later was given a model number, which now known as Penn 99.
As you can see on the sideplate, the name onky appears without designated " no.99 "
Also on the left side plate, it is blank with no egraved scenery which came later.
One other thing i saw was that on the bottom of the reel base (reel foot) its stamp is the line capacity of the reel.... very different from the later models.
The reel is used but good working condition mechanically sound.
The physicsl cosmetics does show signs of use with some light scratches and light patina in some areas. Still a very good well kept reel. Please refer to pics for more details.
