Top quality and so detailed 19th century beautiful solid cast bronze duck head with glass eyes. It dates from the 1890s. It is a beautiful piece, a sturdy desk item. More than likely Austrian made. The duck's head can be put down and attached to the wall. Comes with a wall bracket. Notes can be clicked between them. The spring force is still good. This heavy bronze cute duck head was also used as a paperweight. We have had the top polished professionally, but of course not too much to not lose the antique look. Bottom and inside have retained the original antique color. These types of paper clip have been copied more often in later times, but there are so many differences between the antique and the modern in terms of details, material and finish.
