This is the Oahu 230K Two-Tone Lap Steel Electric Guitar Tube Amplifier.
The Oahu amplifiers gained a large following after it was discovered that Keith Richards was using them in the studio.
This amplifier features a 12 watt all tube design.
There are 3 inputs- 2 guitar and a microphone in.
The tube design, combined with the low wattage makes for a great amp to push into natural overdrive.
This Oahu is on the warmer side enabling a great full sound.
This tone runs to the original Rola 10" speaker- the speaker dates to 1947 or 1957.
The look here is gorgeous- Black/Cream two-tone aesthetic.
This amp is in good overall condition- typical marks you expect on a 60+ year old example, static in pots, the exterior on the power cord is cracking, and the handle is missing some plastic (pics).
The amp has been tested and works as it should.
