The "Real Deal"!
This is really cool. You are looking at a
Vintage 1956 Fender Princeton Tweed Model 5F2 1x8" Narrow Panel Amp. If you are after tone, this is the right amp for you.
it's not too large, but it's loud enough for gigging and great for recording. Has that classic warm vintage tone. This is what the modern amps aspire too. This is the "Real Deal"
Our amp tech serviced this amp. Has been re-capped. All pots, jacks and tube sockets have been cleaned. 3-prong grounded cord has been installed. Leather handle replaced. Original Transformers, Pots& Speaker.
The original tube chart label is present as well and very clean with crisp corners and hand inked serial number. You won't have to spend any additional monies on this amp. Gig Ready on Arrival!
Due to CITES Treaty for Endangered Wood (Mahogany, Rosewood) We no longer ship out of the USA.
Cosmetics: Good "Relic" Condition. Keep in mind that this is a 65 year old vintage amp that has been used. Lots of scuffs, scratches, tears and fading in the Tweed covering. The Main issue is that there is some water damage at the base of the amp. It appears that about 3-4 inches of the base of the cabinet had some water damage at some time. The inside interior piece of the base of the amp has been changed. The outside bottom is water damaged. The tweed is heavily discolored. The cabinet is very solid and tight. (See pictures #10, #11, #12).
Dripping with "Mojo". Very Authentic looking. Looks like how it should for it's age. Tons of street cred. It is used. Not perfect. Overall, a really nice amp. Look at the pictures closely. They will tell the story.
