    Description

Vintage Harker Pottery Royal Gadroon Corinthian Teal Tableware
These wonderful early to mid-century pieces of tableware are from Harker Pottery of East Liverpool, Ohio and Chester, West Virginia. Harker was known as the oldest pottery in America, starting in 1840 and continuing until 1972 when it was finally closed for good. This Corinthian pattern with the “gadroon” edging (like a rope pattern edge) and deep teal green color was a sought after pattern. The following are the measurements of the pieces offered:
1 Sugar Bowl – 6” wide handle to handle, 3 ¾” tall to top of lid, 4 ½” in diameter
    1 Salad Plate – 6” in diameter
    1 Saucer – 6” in diameter
    1 Dinner Plate – 9 ¼” in diameter
    1 Serving Plate or platter – 13 ½’ long, 9 ¾” wide
Condition on all of the pieces is fine with slight wear (small chip on back edge of platter – see photos a small slight scratches on dinner plate – see photos). Total weight is 4 pounds, 8 ounces. (2237-AG)
