Vintage Poole 1960's Nursery Rhyme Child's 4 Piece Set Egg Cup,Mug, Bowl & Plate

Description

Offered is a Vintage 1960's 4 Piece Child's Dining Set by Poole Pottery made in England. Each piece depicts a different nursery rhyme. The set consists of:
1. An egg cup with "Humpty Dumpty".
2. A child's mug with " Georgie Porgie" on one side and
"Wee Willie Winkle" on the other side.
3. A child's bowl with "1, 2 Buckle My Shoe" on the rim and
"The Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe" in the center.
4. A child's plate with "The House that Jack Built on the rim
and "Jack and Jill" in the center.
They are all marked on the bottom with the Dolphin backstamp and Poole England except for the egg cup it is marked on the bottom with Poole England only.
The egg cup measures 1 1/2" tall, 1 7/8" in diameter rim to rim and 1 3/8" in diameter at the base. The mug measures 2 3/4" tall, 2 7/8" rim to rim, 4" from wim to bend in handle and 2" in diameter at the base. The bowl measures 1 3/4" tall, 6 3/8" in diameter rim to rim, 1 1/2" deep and 2" in diameter at the base. The child's plate is coupe design and measures 7" in diameter and 3 1/2" in diameter at the base. All measurements are approximate.
They are all in excellent condition with no cracks, chips, crazing or repairs.
