My items are clean, odor-free, smoke-free and guaranteed authentic.
Up for immediate purchase is this lovely early-to mid 1950s vintage, made in the USA, Arranbee R&B "Nanette" or "Nancy Lee" (not sure which) straight-legged, hard plastic walker doll. Her walking mechanism works and she is tight enough to stand on her own.The base of her neck is properly incised "R&B." She is 21 inches tall and is wearing an elegant salmon pink gown with fine netting overlay and hand-sewn beading at the neck and waistline. Underneath her full skirting is a Nylon slip (with some pink staining from the interior of her skirting, see photo) and shiny ivory poof panties. Her cloth and ribbon shoes are intact but do have some aging. There also is a bit of light spotting on the bodice of her dress (see photo). Rest assured her clothing is clean and there are no musty, sour, or other off-putting odors.
She has a full set of lush lashes that are in perfect condition with no edge curling. Her light blue-green eyes are clear, even and bright, with no clouding or sinking. They open and close with ease. Her face paint is intact and her cheeks are rosy with no wear. her plastic body pigment has some light discoloration and minor, light marks.
Her strawberry blonde Saran wig is still curled in its original factory set. Some of her original hairnet remains. It has held her hair in its original style for around 70 years. I have left the netting (with pin) intact for the buyer to remove and rearrange/fluff her curls as desired. Please note, there is a small area of dried glue on the right side of her head (just above her hear) where her Saran wig was once glued into place. When her hair is properly arranged this area is not visible; however, the buyer may wish to re-tack her wig. In either case, she presents well.
