LM308 Distortion Guitar Effects Pedal
The Iron Horse V2 is a return to the classic distortion: thick, punch, riffy and rowdy. The true bypass, high gain behemoth has been updated to help steer the stallion or let the reigns loose for full on distorted onslaught. Level control has been adjusted so that unity gain is easier to dial in. Tone control now has more treble on tap is so desired. The Distortion control's range has also been smoothed out, making lower gain more accessible.
On/Off True Bypass Switch: Press switch to turn on (effect mode) and again to turn off (bypass mode)
Controls:
Level
Controls the output level.
Tone
Allows specific adjustment of high end treble frequencies. Turn clockwise to increase high/treble frequencies and counterclockwise to decrease high/treble frequencies.
Distortion
Adjusts the distortion output. Turn clockwise to increase amount of distortion. As it is increased, the signal becomes louder, thicker, and more distorted. Turn counterclockwise to decrease amount of distortion.
Mode
Switches between arrangements of clipping diodes to create an assortment of distortions. Left position is some compression, right position is most compressed, and middle position is wide open.

The Iron horse V2 is a Return to the classic distortion: thick, punchy, riffy and rowdy. The true bypass, high gain behemoth has been updated to help steer the Stallion or let the reins loose for full on distorted onslaught. Dial back the gain and it can be used as a thick, warm overdrive. The Iron horse has three distortion modes operated by a toggle switch that changes between different clipping diodes providing more versatility in shaping the tone of the distortion. Left will give some compression. Right will give you a higher amount of compression and middle will give you a wide open, non compressed signal. The Iron horse V2 updates are as follows: - updated the level control so that it is easier to dial in unity gain. - updated the tone control to allow more treble to be dialed in If desired. - updated distortion control to smooth out the range of distortion making it easier to dial in Lower gain tones.
